Q: You were one of the group leaders on 2007's "Clash of the
Choirs," which also featured Cincinnati's own Nick Lachey. What was
that experience like for you?
A: The
only thing I regret about 'Clash of the Choirs' is, even though it was
a short week there, I miss being able to hang out and talk to Nick or
Patti Labelle, especially those two, and Michael Bolton. Who knew how
funny that guy was? Nick is one of those guys who's in every trash
magazine that you pick up, and you wonder what that guy's like? He
always has a smile on his face and (is) just a great guy. That was my
favorite thing about getting to meet all those different artists. I
didn¹t know how I would be treated, and I loved it, although I do think
Nick cheated. The bumblebee song he did ("Flight of the Bumblebee"), I
think you should at least have to sing lyrics. I told him that, too.
